(UNCLASSIFIED - GCL) LIAION Received a call from Richard Sprague, Counsel, House Select Committee on Assassinations, who said she was interested in looking to obtain a committee with Sam Giancana involved in the investigation of the investigation with Sam Giancana and John Rossi, any anti-CASTRO plots. He had with Cuban groups or any involvement he had in anti-Castro plots. I mentioned that the Committee had subpeased Trafficante and he would like to have access to this information as soon as possible. I told him I would look into it and be back in touch with him. (See Memorandum to the Director this date.) 3. (Uclclassified - (GLC) Liaison Following my conversation with Richard Sprague. Council, House Selected Committee on Assassinations, I called Paul Daly, FBI, and John Morrison, OGG, talked with Mike Kelly, Counsel to the Attorney General on FBI, about the request from Spague. The essence of Dale's response was that the Bureau had received a similar request for access to information on Trafficante bad received a letter to the Secretary of the Department of Defense.
