As you are aware, to facilitate the review of CIA documents by the House Select Committee to Assassination, documents were agreed upon between the Director and Chairman procedures were agreed between the Directors and Chairman Stokes to allow, upon appropriate security safeguards, unsanitized access to CIA documents. This includes "201" files of persons who are the subject to interest by HSCA and who who are so identified in the written requests to CIA for any information we may have on them. 2. (c) (C)() (c)() facilitating procedure is intended to apply only to information pertinent to the inquiry by the Committee into the assassinations of Martin Luther King and President John F. Kennedy. Also, I am sure you agree that material falling within the following categories is deserving of protection from risk of exposure and appropriate protection in providing material to the Committee; a. Any information revealing ongoing sensitive operations. b. Any Information revealing ongoing sensitivity could result in kidnapping or assassination if disclosed. c. The names of any persons whose identity sources who have not been identified as of direct interest by the HSCa. 2.1866
