Cinquegrana Assistant General Counsel SUBJECT : OGG-OLC Records Retention Requirements Attached, for your information and use as a reference source, is a copy of the most recent compilation of litigation, investigations, etc ., etc. which result in lengthened retention periods for relevant Agency documents. This list should be current as early February 1978, and fulfills the requirement of HIN 70-26 to the effect that OGC shall supply Agency Records Management Officers be information on which this shall judgments concern- ing routine disposition of records when, if ever, CIA is allowed to return to normal records practices. It is anticipated that this list will be updated on a three to six month basis and has been computerized to facilitate that revision process. Further, this computerization will allow the list to be broken into lists identifying matters of interest to particular compon- broken. (OMD). FOI to PLD, OLC, etc.) etc. and are abbreviated lists will be furnished to appropriate components periodically abbreviated among staff members for correction, amendment, addition, etc ... as the need may be.
