(Unclassified - Dfm) LIAISON Stan Taylor, Catherine Essayon, Keith Raffel, Abram Shulky and Angelo Codovilla, all of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Staff, met with NAC personnel, Dave Milbank, Ed Mickola, and Pat Taylor, on finished intelligence reporting on terrorism. 24. (confidential - DMF) LIAISA Accompanied Mike Epstein, Senate Select committee on IntelligenceStaff, to a meeting with John Waller, IG, and Chuck Briggs, OIG, regarding the allegations of Charles Sargusa, former BNDD official, of Agency classification plots. (Espstein cited his underlined by the Office of the Attorney General, Director, over the responsibility of the Agency to look at the Executive Action initially requested that the Agency again took into the Executive Action program. Mr. Waller stated that he was willing to do this but was not convinced of the relevance of an inquiry into a 17 year old program. After lengthy discussions. Epstein agreed to give the Agency on the paper on why the Committee thought this matter was relevant and Mr. Walker, and accept, agreed to have a paper prepared on the background on the former Agency employee in question. Epstein indicated the Committee would be bear the bulk of the work by interviewing Sirgusa and the former employee under oath. 25. (UNCLASSIFIED - DPM) LIAIASON Stan Taylor, Senate Select Committee On Intelligence staff met with Gary Goodrich, OWI regarding Soviet ability to detect U.S. Senator submarines. Taylor may ask for a briefing of this matter for Senator Jarn Jarn (R ., Utah). 26. (unclassified) (GMC) LIAISOAN Received a call from Molly Williamson, Research Director, House Select Committee for Population, Williamson said that the meeting this morning by the NFAAC/NIO for Political Economy Hans Heyman and Committee Chairman James Scheuer (D), N. Y ., I had been extremely successful. She thought that Heymann had made precisely the right impression.
