Lock Director of Classification Missouri State Penitentiary May 28, 1962 In response to your 100 of May 25, 1962 the above named 3-year-old white inmate was seen briefly on the above morning of May 29, 1962. He arrived at KSP March 1960 with a 20 of May 30, 1962, he arrived at the KSP March 1960 with the finished six months on B-3 for an attempted escape to go over the walls near the main prison, he says. He claims over the years of high school in a hatch, in the United States Army. The subject appears to be a rather simple, inadequate, un- spontaneous individual of a rather passive sort. His abor- kive attempt to scale the walls as characteristic of the kive attempts to scale this wall as a characteristic of which may be expected from individual. He smiles in an inappropriate and embarrassing manner at times and gives on the same time as they are communicating with a rather simple sort of soul. Subject states that he would prefer to work at whatever they give me -- I don't have any choice. He states that he was previously working in the cleaning plant when he was apprehended in his escape episode. I have no specific recommendations as to work assignment for this individual. Leyton H.
