An individual named JOHN WILLARD has registered in that hotel on at least two occasions. One resigned to the President of the United States. The President of Charleston, South Carolina, and that he is a Revlon representative. He was at the hotel approximately two months ago. While at the hotel he received "strange" telephone calls. Mrs. SLACK was apprehensive about furnishing the information about WILLARD was a local Agent and wanted to know if she could trust that she has a local agent wanted to trust any FBI Agent. She stated that most of the people in that area are racists and that they laugh for her taking up that President JOHNSON. Among her comments is the fact that while WILLARD is in the hotel, Mrs. BLACK's recollection is to the effect that he received telephone calls from Memphis. Before I could ask additional questions, she stated she could not afford a telephone call. I informed her an Agent from the San Antonio office would get in touch with her.
